Drafting Intern at Cameron Valves & Measurement, Little Rock Description: I managed a project known as the “Modeling
Project.” I worked to completely replace 2-dimensional drawings with
3-dimensional models & drawings for various parts of valves using
Autodesk Inventor. Another part of the project was to re-name all documents
to not be specific to material, using a new naming system. I managed files
using our Vault database as well as created/revised parts & documents in
our global processes database, SAP GUI. I also modeled other parts when
needed, such as seat tool mechanisms, stems/cams, and other various parts. I
updated repair/installation manuals for our line’s actuators. Updating
included creating new images for the manuals using existing models in the
Vault, as well as re-writing the assembly & disassembly instructions for
the manuals per the new training class for shop employees. I also spent time
on the shop floor building actuators, bonnet assemblies, and working with
valve instrumentation. I attended engineering & safety meetings and
learned & complied with engineering standards & best practices. vDec. 2012 – Jan 2013: Infrastructure
Data Specialist at CenterPoint Energy, Little Rock Description: I worked in the Infrastructure Data Group,
updating all plastic pipe in the Geographical Information System. I worked to
maintain data integrity; sometimes involving research of related engineering
documents & historical maps to ensure GIS has only accurate, trustworthy
data. I attended weekly team meetings & performed quality control every

(temporary) at Cameron Valves & Measurement, Little Rock Description: I was initially was hired through a staffing agency, with my primary
duty being to set the Modeling Project (mentioned above) in motion. I feel I
have made quite an impact in aiding our department to reach the goal set
forth for the Modeling Project, which is a goal that will intend to boost
sales & customer satisfaction. During this time as a temp, I mostly
worked on the Modeling Project only. As the Orbit Drafting Intern, many more
